16-bit ALU: Layout And Verification

We have designed a 16-bit ALU, which is capable of performing arithmetic operations like subtraction, addition, multiplication and division and logical operations like NAND, NOT, NOR XOR, logical shift left, logical shift right, greater than comparison and equality comparison.

Using the fillers to use up the area, which also avoided the unnecessary passing of current from one cell to another, which did follow the stipulated rules as well. Height of the layout was same as the height of standard cell library=8.890. To obtain a cell count of 3000 cells, we stored the output in a 32- bit register.
