Power is the most intricate component of any infrastructure, crucial for any country’s growth and welfare. India’s energy sector is one of the most variegated in the world. Ranging from conventional sources like coal, natural gas, lignite and non-conventional sources like solar, wind and agricultural waste.

The current installed capacity is 373.435 GW as of October 31, 2020 reported by ministry of power, India. However, the renewable energy sector constitutes about 89.635 GW.
